HISTORY AND PROJECTS 1983 TO PRESENT DAY
The 1980’s
• Logic System was founded in England by Chris Scott in 1983 as a tour sound hire company
• Manufactured loudspeakers for some of the UK’s large PA companies such as Roadstar and Skan (now part of Clair Brothers
• Logic System products used on the Eurythmics world tour
• Designs installed at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium
• OEM products made for Harman/JBL
The 1990’s
• Logic System moved into speaker manufacture as its main business
• High output three way point source systems such as the CS1290 were developed
• Supplied products to may of the Premier League football stadiums, as well as the UK’s two largest nightclub operators
• Brand officially launched in 1997 at the renowned PLASA show, in London’s iconic Earl’s Court venue
• Logic System moved into the international market in 1998, exhibiting at another famous show, Prolight & sound Frankfurt
• The brand became a regular on the global trade show circuit, gathering distribution in many countries across Europea and Asia
The 2000’s
• ML point source touring loudspeakers developed
• Logic entered the line array market with the Ethos VA system
• This was followed by the Ethos CA system, an ahead-of-its-time constant curvature array
• IS installation products developed, which along with ML, gained popularity in the Asia market, competing with high end European brands such as Nexo and Martin Audio
2024
• Chris Scott and Jason Baird (ex Martin Audio head of R&D) begin working together
• The original Logic System brand is started up again
• Objective is making high performance loudspeakers in the United Kingdom, using European drive units
2025
• Logic System exhibits at Prolight & Sound Guangzhou
• A series loudspeakers are launched, targeting the entertainment and KTV markets
• LS amplifiers are launched, featuring DSP, audio network and high power 4 channel operation
• Logic System HK Ltd is appointed APAC regional distributor
